Mark's passion for good food, personalized nutrition, and experience with special diets drives DietaryDNA's vision of bringing food and medicine closer together. Mark is a career IT guy with a systems approach to solving problems; his experience includes healthcare, higher education, and corporate finance.

Dana Hoffer


Dana has been in digital since Internet 1.0. He has invented tech from the earliest intranets to personalized search to Blockchain crypto-security. Dana has been diet-conscious since college when he took one walk through the campus dining hall, and has family members managing food allergies.

Nick Farrell

Co-Founder / Chief Hospitality Officer

Nick and his wife Linda own the award-winning Sovana Bistro in Kennett Square, PA. Opened in 1998, Sovana has gained accolades from Zagat, Philadelphia Magazine, & more. Nick is a restaurant lifer and graduate of the PA Institute of Culinary Arts, and has been featured in numerous publications and VIP events.

Elliot Sterenfeld, M.D.

Co-Founder / EVP Special Projects

Elliot has practiced Medicine for more than 20 years, leading organizations to patient-centric, interdisciplinary care models. Elliot's years of experience have proven the results of the Five Wells: Eat Well, Move Well, Sleep Well, Relate Well, and Stress Well. Mindfully eating delicious whole foods is the most important of the “wells”.

Fernando Gallard

PR & Media Advisor

Fernando grew up in restaurants and hotel food service. He's waited tables. He's run room service and managed kitchens. Now Fernando is a property owner with a beachfront restaurant and vacation apartments in Nicaragua. He understands the power of doing good work, having served the Philadelphia School District as head of communications and drove economic development for the city of Philadelphia for over 15 years.

Stephanie Lawthers R.D.

Dietitian Adviser

Stephanie is a Registered Dietitian focused on Functional Nutrition, and co-founder of Nourish Functional Nutrition. Stephanie and her partner provide an individualized and holistic approach to nutritional care. She has experience in all levels of the care continuum, including long-term care, hospital, hospice, private practice, & more.

Emi Kirschner CHHC, AADP

Wellness Adviser

Board-certified holistic health coach, speaker, and author who helps executives & entrepreneurs understand how their relationship with food affects their lives. Emi’s techniques combine mindfulness with personalized nutrition to help her clients harness their inner energy & deliver results. Prior to becoming a wellness professional, Emi worked in marketing and as a personal chef.

Bruce Kelly

Fitness Advisor

Bruce has over 25 years experience in fitness and coaching. He started his career working in "big box" gyms, then as an independent personal trainer before opening Fitness Together in Media, PA over 11 years ago. Bruce has his M.S. in Exercise Science, and numerous other professional certifications and accomplishments.

Ryan Shaughnessy

Marketing Consultant

Ryan joins DietaryDNA this summer to consult in launching the company through marketing, sales, and industry research. In the fall, Ryan will be returning as a junior at Penn State University - University Park to major in Economics with a minor in Business. At school, Ryan is an Associate Director in the Penn State Collegiate Chapter of the American Marketing Association. Ryan brings his drive to the team so that all diners can feel more comfortable to dine out with family and friends, no matter how unique their diet may be.
